CHRIS ALLEN | FOUNDER & CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER

Chris Allen is a media industry leader with almost two decades of experience under his belt. Originally from Liverpool in the UK, Chris has worked on global TV hits such as Dancing with the Stars, Big Brother, The X Factor, and Pawn Stars before venturing into the digital media space.

After moving to New York, he pioneered content for iconic titles like Elle, Esquire, and Harper’s Bazaar while at Hearst and played a pivotal role in the launch of  Cosmopolitan’s YouTube channel.

At Mansueto Ventures, home to Fast Company and Inc., Chris was the driving force behind the renowned publications’ video strategy, producing award-winning work across news, tech, business, and culture.

While at Morning Brew, where he led the charge in launching their multimedia department, Chris helmed several successful franchises, reaching billions of views, subscribers, and downloads in his first year.

As VP, Podcast at Betches Media, Chris implemented a 360° multimedia strategy, driving significant growth in output and increasing downloads, views, engagement, and overall performance.

In 2023, Chris unveiled Wayward Bound Media, a full service media consultancy and production studio helping creators, brands, and media companies create engaging, meaningful, and impactful work across streaming, YouTube, podcast, social media, and branded content.
